This article details the process for verified Thkee instructors to set up direct deposit as their payment method for course revenue. By opting for direct deposit, instructors can have their Thkee payments securely transferred directly to their designated bank account.
Please be aware:
- Only instructors who currently reside in Saudi Arabia and have a Saudi bank account are eligible to use the direct deposit payment option. We will update this article as soon as bank accounts and instructors in other countries accept direct deposits as payment.
- Instructors using direct deposit as their payment option are not assessed any fees by Thkee. However, we suggest that instructors inquire about any potential exchange or transaction fees by contacting their bank.
How to set up direct deposit as an instructor payment method
The following procedures can be followed by instructors to set up direct deposit as their payment method:
- Navigate to your Instructor View, and click Payout on the left side menu.
- Click Resume Setup.
- A pop-up will appear, click Start Setup Now to proceed.
- Start by completing your profile, enter your name or company name, include a 60-character headline or quick description of your expertise, write a short bio, upload a profile picture, and then click Save & Continue.
- Now select your Country, enter your Phone Number, and don't forget to upload your National ID Card/ Passport and your Business Licence if found, after that, click Save & Continue.
- Read Thkee Terms Of Use, then tick the I have read and agree to the Thkee Terms of Use choice and click Save & Continue.
- Tick the I have read and agree to the Promotions Policy terms for Thkee Deals Program choice, then click Save & Continue.
- Now click Add account.
- As requested, provide your banking details. Kindly make sure that the name you enter matches the one on your bank account, then click Submit at the end of the page.
Note: The form can only accept a name's first 22 characters. - After your bank account information has successfully been entered, the Under Review label will appear, click Submit.
Note: You can click the edit icon to edit your bank account information or the trash can icon to delete your bank account from your Thkee account. - A pop-up will appear, click Close.
- Finally, if you need to modify something, you can click the Resume Setup button at the top right, otherwise, verification will take 1-2 business days. Please wait till then.
Issues entering your bank account information
Please get in touch with your bank to make sure you are entering the proper information and that your account is operational if you are having trouble storing your bank account details on the Payment Options page.
In addition to what was already said, kindly make sure that your name appears exactly as it does in your bank account (the form will only accept the first 22 characters of a name).
You can also try entering and saving the details of any additional Saudi bank accounts you may have.
How to change or delete your bank account information for direct deposit
If you want to add, delete, or connect a bank account moving forward, navigate to your Instructor View:
- Click Payout on the left side menu, and move to the Settings tab.
- Click the edit icon to edit your bank account information or the trash can icon to delete your bank account from your Thkee account.
- By selecting the "Add a New Bank Account" option, you can also add another account.
- Your payments will be deposited into that bank account after you opt for Submit. On the Payment Options page.
Note:
- We advise instructors who do not plan to use direct deposit to remove bank accounts from their accounts. By doing this, you can make sure that your monthly payment is being sent to the right bank account.
- Please make sure to activate an alternative payment option or another bank account that you already specified for direct deposit after deleting an account from your options. This will ensure that your next payment is made on the appropriate date.
