Thkee purchases call for transaction taxes paid by who?
Students living in areas collecting transaction taxes such as VAT, GST, or other forms of sales taxes could have to pay taxes when they make a purchase on the Thkee system. Account and billing information are just two of the many factors that go into determining taxes.
Thkee reserves the right to alter this policy so that it consistently complies with tax regulations.
How can I view the expected transaction tax charge?
Before you are billed during the checkout process, the amount of your purchases will include any relevant taxes. The tax rate will be indicated on the transaction's invoice, and the charged tax amount will be shown on your receipt.
Depending on where you live and the amount of tax you are paying, the tax will either appear on the displayed price or be added to the total. For example, tax is included in the course fee for students purchasing courses in countries where taxes are imposed. Therefore, if the course was 19.99 USD, the student would have to pay 19.99 USD for the item.
On the checkout page, students buying courses in tax-exclusive nations will view the tax shown as "Estimated Tax".
Where can I find the transaction tax levied following a Thkee purchase?
Completing a purchase on Thkee will result in an email receipt that breaks out the purchase price and taxes separately. Your receipt will display the paid amount beside Tax.
Where would I find an invoice?
Go to the Purchase History in your account to rapidly retrieve an invoice for your purchase. Find out more about Thkee invoices.
Is it possible to obtain receipts without the transaction tax amount displayed? Alternatively, might Thkee reimburse the transaction taxes I paid?
Legal obligations force us to show the tax levied for every transaction. Tax amounts found on receipts cannot be taken from them. Thkee is a business-to-consumer website; hence, we cannot eliminate tax references from our invoices or receipts.
If a customer needs a tax-free receipt or invoice because they are a business and exempt from paying taxes, they will need to sign up for a Business account.
