This page describes the basic standards and recommended practices for passing Thkee's Quality Review Process for the Instructor Bio.
The instructor's Bio is what? Why does it matter?
Instructors can highlight their personality, experience, and area of specialization in the Bio. It shows up on the profile page, under the headline.
Under Biography in their profile, instructors can edit their Instructor Bio.
"Credibility" was listed by potential students as their top consideration when selecting an online course. Building competence is essential to increasing enrollment and student confidence.
Make sure this area is clear of promotional material and accurately reflects the credentials of the instructors. Thkee policy is checked against the profile during the Quality Review Process.
Guidelines to get through our quality evaluation process:
- Check that the instructor's bio has the correct information.
- If your pen name or pseudonym is different from your legal name, you may be requested to complete extra verification.
- Using a photo of another person—stock or created artificially—is not allowed.
- Any qualifications must be true for the account owner personally or for the company they own.
- Information that seems inconsistent or conflicting throughout the instructor's account and courses may need further verification.
- Outside links are not allowed. Instructors can instead add links to the "Links" area of their profile.
- Once input, kindly test the links as they are set to already have the domain for every social networking site.
- Don't list any email addresses or other ways to get in touch where personal information is provided directly.
- Use no eye-catching copy or formatting, including too much capitalization, punctuation, or emoticons.
