You can test the demand for a topic, help establish a student audience, and experience teaching on our platform by making your courses available for free on the Thkee marketplace. It is an additional avenue via which educators can get student input regarding their pedagogical approaches.
This article addresses some of the frequently asked questions we get from teachers about the streamlined learning process and free courses.

Can I charge a price for my course on Thkee but offer it for free elsewhere?
Is there any difference between a free and paid course? Other than the price?
Yes. Students can have a more straightforward learning experience with Thkee's free courses. The features that are offered in a free course compared to a paid course are limited by this streamlined experience.
Free courses, for instance, do not provide a certificate of completion. Free course enrollments do not include access to extra course elements like the Q&A and direct messaging (even if the instructor has enabled them).
Furthermore, any free courses posted on Thkee have to have videos that last no more than 2 hours.
What are the minimum requirements for a free course?
The same minimum requirements that apply to premium courses also apply to free courses; the only difference is that all published free courses must have video lengths of no more than 2 hours.
What if a student enrolls in my paid course through a free coupon I shared out? Will they have access to all the course content and features?
Yes. All of the course features will be available to students who register for paid courses using instructor coupons, our gifting option (which will be available soon), or Thkee credits. The meaning of "free course" describes courses in which the instructor has not set a fee.
Can I change my course from free to paid? Or vice-versa?
A course can only be changed from free to paid once, although instructors are free to alter the cost of their courses whenever they like. The promotional announcements for the course will be permanently deactivated if, after it is released, it is changed from being free to paid to free again, or vice versa.
How can I change a course from free to paid?
To switch from a free course to a costly one, you must be registered as a verified instructor. Discover how to determine your course's price.
Can I charge a price for my course on Thkee but offer it for free elsewhere?
No, you are unable to provide your paid courses on platforms other than Thkee (such as YouTube, your own website, or other websites) for free.
