This article covers how instructors can set and adjust the base pricing of their course. However, if teachers want to collect fees for their classes, they must first seek to become verified instructors.
This article contains additional information on how to become a verified instructor.
How instructors can set or change the price of their course
Instructors establish a base pricing for each of their courses, which is automatically utilised as the course's list price. If you are an instructor and would like to set or adjust the base pricing of your course, please follow the straightforward procedures below:
-
Navigate to the instructor dashboard. The process on how to navigate and access the instructor's view can be seen here).
-
Click Pricing on the left-hand side. The minimum and maximum base prices instructors can set for courses are also listed in our global price matrix.
-
Select the price you wish to set. Price will be saved automatically.
Please note: The new pricing may not be immediately reflected in the Thkee marketplace or on mobile devices, and coupons made prior to the price change may still be valid for your course.
Course prices with Thkee deals
For instructors who have opted into Thkee Deals, Thkee may produce and publish a market-specific list price for your course that differs significantly from the standard price.
Changing a course from free to paid
Instructors can adjust the price of their courses at any moment. However, a course can only be converted from free to paid once. If a course is turned from free to paid and then back to free (or vice versa) after it has been published, promotional announcements for that course will be permanently deleted.
Please keep in mind that courses you charge for on Thkee cannot be given for free on sites other than Thkee, such as YouTube, your website, or others.
