After creating a live course on Thkee and adding your series and sessions, you may need to make adjustments based on your schedule or learner needs.
Thkee allows you to manage your series after creation, giving you flexibility to update schedules, control availability, and organize your sessions efficiently.
This guide explains how to manage your series effectively after creation.
What can you manage in a series?
Once a series is created, you can:
- Access the Series
- Activate or deactivate a series
- Edit and delete sessions
- Cancel sessions
- Add sessions
Accessing the Series
To manage an existing series:
- Go to the Instructor View
- Open your live course
- Navigate to the Schedule page
- Scroll to select the series you want to manage
Activating or Deactivating a Series
You can control whether a series is open for enrollment:

Draft: The series is unavailable for enrollment

Ready: Makes the series available for learners to enroll
Steps:
- First, locate the desired series
- Toggle the status to Ready or Draft
This is useful for managing multiple series or controlling enrollment periods.
Once a series is marked as ready, it can be reverted to draft for editing only if there are no enrollments. If the series already has enrollments, switching it back to draft is not possible; however, you can still manage enrollment availability by clicking “Pause Enrollment”.
Adjusting Sessions within Series
Editing and deleting sessions:
You can edit and delete sessions. However, editing and deleting are only permitted when the series is in Draft status and has no enrollments.
- After selecting the target series, change its status to Draft mode
- After selecting the target session within the chosen series, click the three-dot icon
- From the menu, select Edit or Delete
Editing:
- Update the date and time as needed
- Click Update to apply changes

4. Confirm the deletion by clicking the “Delete” button
Cancel sessions:
Follow the same first two steps used for editing and deleting sessions. Then, from the menu, select Cancel Session and confirm by clicking Yes, Cancel.
Sessions can only be canceled if the course is free and the series has no enrollments.
Adding sessions:
You can add a session to the series by following the next steps:
- Once you’ve located the desired series, click “Add Session”
- Select the appropriate date and time. After setting the first session, you can add additional sessions by choosing more dates and times as needed.
- Finally, click Confirm.
Adjusting Series
You can delete or copy a series.
Deletion is only permitted for series that have no enrollments.
Deleting Series:
- Once you’ve located the desired series, click the three-dot icon
- From the menu, click Delete
- Confirm by clicking Delete
Copying Series:
If you want to offer the same course again with a different schedule, you can copy an existing series instead of creating one from scratch.
This feature allows you to duplicate the structure of a series, including its sessions, and then adjust the dates as needed.
- Once you’ve located the desired series, click the three-dot icon
- From the menu, click Copy
- Select the New Start Date and Enable Schedule Shift option to automatically adjust session times if a scheduling conflict is detected. (From the menu, you can select the shift time that works best for you)
- Review the copied sessions and make any necessary adjustments.
- Click Confirm to save the new series, then set it as ready for enrollment.
Managing your series effectively ensures a smooth learning experience, helps maintain clear communication with learners, and allows you to deliver your live course in a structured and professional way.
