You may easily provide instructors with reviews on how to enhance their course content by rating your experience in the course, and you can also assist prospective students in choosing the correct course. Once the course is started, you can write a review and always change or remove it later. This article describes how to use a laptop or computer to leave or edit a review while attending a course.
Instructor responses
Instructors can publicly respond to their students' reviews for several reasons:
- To express gratitude to students for their thoughts and encouraging remarks.
- to address any queries or worries that students may have had.
- must inform students of the adjustments they have made to the courses in response to their recommendations, comments, and evaluations.
The instructor's response will be deleted if you edit your review after receiving a reply from them, and only your new review will be displayed to other students.
How to leave a review
If you are using a laptop or desktop to access your course, there are three spots where you can write a review.
- From the course cards on your Learning lab page.
- In the course player by scrolling down and switching to the Reviews tab.
- During the course, you'll receive three prompts to leave a review—once at the beginning, again in the middle, and finally at the end.
If you prefer not to leave a review when prompted, simply click the cross icon at the top right corner, No worries—if you change your mind while progressing through the course, you'll have another opportunity to leave your review.
What to include in your review
You can follow these easy steps to leave a review after you have been prompted, or you initiate the review yourself, the process is the same:
- Access the desired course.
- At the bottom of the course player, click the Reviews tab, and then click Write a review.
- A popup with its own text editor will appear, provide your star rating (choose the number of stars you want to leave), type your review there (leave a detailed review explaining your experiences), and then click Submit.
The instructor and other students can check out all of these reviews; however, if you edit your review, just the most recent version will be displayed.
How to edit or delete a review
Using the course player Reviews tab, you can modify your course review at any moment.
-
Select the ellipses located in the right corner of your review.
-
Next, click Edit.
-
Make the desired changes, then click Submit.
Even students who are not enrolled in the course will be able to see your review. Log out of your Thkee account and look for the course in the marketplace if you would want to read your review as it appears to prospective students.
Tips for writing a good review
Have the following points in mind when composing a course review:
- Tell us the reason. Please provide your thoughts along with a star rating. Other students appreciate your opinion about the course, but when you only leave a star rating, it can be confusing for other students to find out why you made the choice you did.
- Give details. Being specific makes it easier for other students to decide if the course is good for them. Are there any parts that could be better? Did you find the course to be up to par? Which sections of the course are your favorites so far?
- And Be Sincere! One of the most crucial factors that students take into account before enrolling in a course is the reviews. Reviews are only useful, though, if you are sincere about your feelings regarding the course. Your opinions are relevant and beneficial to the market as long as you respectfully express them.
