Gathering a meaningful feedback on new courses can be a bit challenging especially if you are a new instructor. However, you are always welcome to ask for feedback from others as long as you stay mindful on how you engage yourself with your students.
Rules When Asking for Reviews
-
Instructors should not and cannot indicate what type of rating or review a student should leave, or outline any detail or information to be included
-
Instructors may not specify what medium should be used to express varying feedback
-
Instructors are strictly not permitted to trade reviews with other instructors
-
Instructors must decline any offer from a student to provide a positive review in exchange for goods or services, and should report the request
-
Instructors are expected to not seek to systematically reward positive reviews
How to Ask for Reviews:
-
Please give me feedback on my course by writing a review!
-
I really hope you found this course valuable and met your learning goals, but either way, please leave a review and share your experience.
-
Tell me what you think about my course and the activities you had! Please write a review whenever you can. I am also available for questions, hence, you can always send me a direct message anytime.
How NOT to Ask for Reviews:
-
If you liked the course and its activities, please give me a 5-star review!
-
Please send me a direct message instead of leaving a review if you did NOT like the course.
-
I worked very hard on this course and I expect that you found it valuable and will leave a positive review about your experience.
-
If you leave a (5-star) review, I will give my next course to you for free!

When an instructor is clearly going against the spirit of Thkee policies in an attempt to game the system, or if we see a severe negative impact on the student experience, it will be considered a violation of our policies.
